Welcome to the Grand Meadow Heritage Festival, where history comes to life! Held on the beautiful grounds of the Grand Meadow Heritage Center in Washta, Iowa, this festival is our biggest event of the year and a beloved tradition for families, history enthusiasts, and shoppers alike.
Each year, we welcome over 800 guests per day to experience historical demonstrations, traditional crafts, live music, antique displays, and a vibrant vendor market featuring talented artisans, crafters, and small businesses like you!
Why Vend at the Heritage Festival?
✅ Large & Engaged Crowd – With over 1,600 visitors throughout the weekend, our festival provides high foot traffic and enthusiastic shoppers looking for unique, handmade, and vintage items.
✅ Affordable Booth Spaces – We believe in keeping our festival accessible for all vendors. Spaces are just $20 for a full weekend (10’x10’ outdoor space) or $40 for a semi-covered space (limited availability!).
✅ A Unique Setting – Unlike other vendor events, our festival is an immersive historical experience where visitors love to engage with vendors who showcase heritage crafts, antiques, folk art, handmade goods, and specialty foods.
✅ Support a Great Cause – All booth fees go directly to the Grand Meadow Heritage Center, a nonprofit dedicated to preserving local history and educating future generations. Your participation helps keep history alive!
✅ A Vendor-Friendly Experience – Our festival is organized by a dedicated team of volunteers who work hard to ensure a smooth and enjoyable event for both vendors and guests.
What to Expect as a Vendor
Location: Grand Meadow Heritage Center – 6306 D Ave, Washta, Iowa
Dates & Times:
• Friday, Sept. 6: Setup available in the afternoon & evening (by request)
• Saturday, Sept. 6: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Sunday, Sept. 7: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
🛍️ Vendor Guidelines:
- Spaces are 10’x10’ and must be self-supplied (bring your own tables, chairs, and tents).
- This event is completely outdoors—please come prepared for all weather conditions!
- All booth fees are considered a nonrefundable donation to Grand Meadow Heritage Center.
